In response to the request of a representative of a natural stone business company during the ASEAN-China Expo in Nanning, China on September 17, and the request of other natural stone business in Cambodia, and having handed over the job to the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Mines and Energy to coordinate the meeting with the Cambodian Granite Association and the quarry business to propose in principle to the Royal Government, on September 29, 2023, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet signed the sub-decree regarding the adjustment of the export tax rate of the natural stone goods. The sub-decree aims to ease the burden on natural stone exporters and help the competition of Cambodian natural stone products in the international market.
