Recently, speaking to the workers and management of OIJ Group, HE Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit Hun Manet has raised the three important factors that play an important role in reducing poverty and improving the living standards of people throughout the country.
Firstly, His Excellency Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit pointed out that Cambodia needs to increase the amount of work, which means that jobs must not concentrate in Phnom Penh or anywhere in particular. Cambodia needs to create more jobs and push jobs to the grassroots so that most people have a chance to get one. Secondly, regarding the quality of work, HE Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit attracted the participants on five points about investment long-term strategy, opportunity for workers to receive good salaries and benefits, along with the possibilities and opportunities for them to increase their capacity, investment and jobs creation that protect the rights and care for workers’ well-being, investments that care about the environment communities and societies, as well as strengthen and enhance labor productivity through the import of modern technology and the strengthening of new ways of working.
His Excellency Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit clearly stated, regarding the third point, that “apart from the quantity and quality of work, what needs to be taken care of is equity […], if we think only of one thing, it will not work. If we only think about the company, we do not think about the workers, we will have a hard time. If we force workers to ignore the welfare and protection laws, we will face problems. “If we only think of workers, we do not think of creating conditions for the company to operate, such as providing various incentives, there will be consequences because companies would no longer be with us” […]./.
