On the morning of August 28, 2023, at the Peace Palace, on the occasion of receiving HE Maria Del Carmen Moreno, Ambassador of the European Union, who pays a farewell courtesy call as she is ending her diplomatic mission in Cambodia, His Excellency Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, expressed his deep gratitude for the close cooperation between Cambodia and the European Union.
His Excellency Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit informed the guest about the policy of the Royal Government of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly, which is the continuation of the Triangular Strategy and the four-phases Rectangular Strategy, and for this term, the Royal Government will focus specially on building human capital, reforming the health sector at the grassroots level, and the public sector. In addition to the commitment of both sides to continue to promote and enhance closer cooperation between Cambodia and the European Union, as well as to expand the direction of cooperation in new areas such as education, human resource development, health and public functions, HE Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit urged the European Union to consider supporting and financing the “Phase 2 Multi-Year Indicator Program 2021-2027” to facilitate Cambodia’s trade and exports to the EU market./.
