With the commitment and solemn promise to the first session of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly, His Excellency the Prime Minister Kitti Tesaphibal Bindit Hun Manet said, “I am determined to lead the national executive body, ensure the successful implementation of the “Political Platform of the Royal Government”, which is the promise of the Cambodian People’s Party to the people before the election, and which I have now submitted to the supreme National Assembly, with a special focus on the six priorities of the political platform, which will be implemented immediately in 2023.
His Excellency the Prime Minister informed the entire National Assembly as well as the Cambodian people throughout the country that the six priorities include the expansion of health care services towards global health coverage; vocational and technical training for young people from poor and vulnerable families across the country; establishment of a national social assistance program for poor families, vulnerable groups in poor households and vulnerable families in times of economic crisis and emergency; introduction and promotion of the implementation of informal economic development strategies to enable the participation of the formal economy and to be able to benefit from the formal social protection system; establishment of coordination mechanisms and financing programs aimed at boosting production, marketing and maintaining the prices of key agricultural products at a reasonable level; and the deployment of agricultural technical officers to all communes with agricultural activities throughout the country and the establishment of farmers’ associations in rural areas./.
