“During my visit to meet displaced citizens in Preah Vihear province on January 31, 2026, I informed our people about the measures the Royal Government was implementing. These aimed to save lives, secure long-term peace to prevent the recurrence of war, and restore the livelihoods of our people.
As of today, within just about eight months, we have collectively turned those initial measures into concrete achievements for our conflict-affected citizens.
To be sure, our work in resolving border issues with Thailand is not yet complete. However, the accomplishments achieved in this short period clearly demonstrate to our people the Royal Government’s firm commitment to executing our clear and highly responsible plans for the cause of our nation, territory, and people.
I urge all Cambodian citizens, both at home and abroad, to maintain trust in the Royal Government as we continue our utmost efforts to resolve remaining Cambodia-Thailand border issues with the highest sense of responsibility.”
