To my dear compatriots!
In the difficult times when our nation suffered a war of aggression against its sovereignty and territorial integrity, I have witnessed truly the strong spirit of solidarity and national unity among us Cambodians, as well as the pain of our nation and people, that has inspired sincere patriotism and the strong determination everywhere to build the nation stronger.
Indeed, the current national difficulties are those of all Khmer/Cambodian people, whereas the key to our nation now is that we must transform the current national difficulties and the fierce determination of all Khmer people into a strong national struggle force and a sacred national goal, namely, to unite as one to protect our beloved homeland and make our Khmer/Cambodian nation strong, in accordance with the sacred desire of all Khmer/Cambodian people. At the same time, and in the future, we need to unite as one with the common national determination to strengthen national potential in all fields and eliminate all inactions in national society that weaken the nation.
Security and social order, and the fight against crime, are priorities of the Royal Government’s policy to ensure the peaceful living of citizens, and the fight against cybercrime is currently a key focus, in addition to efforts on other important national priorities.
Witnessing the serious dangers to society posed by cybercrime and the complexity of this modern crime, which has interconnected networks from one country to another, the Royal Government, from the 6th legislative term of the National Assembly through to the beginning of the 7th legislative term of the National Assembly, has taken many measures against this crime, and scored many positive results. The decision of the Royal Government of the 7th legislative term of the National Assembly to prioritize the fight against crime on its political agenda is not a coincidence, whereas the successive introduction of strict and sharp measures against cybercrime in the past is a testament to the implementation of the Royal Government’s political commitment to combat this transnational crime, which is a common concern of Cambodia, the region, and the world.
Therefore, I would really like to see the participation with commitment and sacrifice for the nation from all relevant actors, especially the participation of the Cambodian people of all classes, all trends, as well as civil servants, local authorities, and all relevant competent forces, so that we can unite as a great Khmer/Cambodian national solidarity force to eliminate all problems related to cybercrime, as well as to enhance the excellent reputation of the Kingdom of Cambodia on the international stage.
Finally, I would like to express my blessings to our beloved compatriots, may they be blessed with the Buddha’s blessings and the five blessings of longevity, caste, happiness, strength, and wisdom./.
