To His Excellency Lok Chumteav, Ministers, Presidents of Relevant Institutions
Since the recruitment of civil servants is an important task as it is relating to the reform of our public functions in the new term, I would like to suspend all recruitment of officials in the plan for the remaining part of 2023 and reschedule it to the future preparation. I have seen requests from three ministries, referred by the Ministry of Public Function, for (instruction on) the examination procedure in 2023. The National Commission on Public Function Reform, in which ensuring the consistency of the examination – one of the most important components – will work on it as the major goal for the new government. Therefore, in order to proceed consistently with the new mechanism, I am asking to suspend the recruitment competition exams from now until the new commission and mechanism is organized and ready in the near future.
In this regard, may Your Excellencies, Lok Chumteav (Ministers requesting for the recruitment procedures) be informed and implementing accordingly. May the Ministry of Public Function follow and implement this principle./.
